DWAIN K. PLANT

LIMESTONE – Dwain K. Plant, 57, husband of Lori (Cropley) Plant, passed away unexpectedly October 14, 2019 in Topsfield. He was born August 20, 1962 in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, the son of Bernard and Vera (Larlee) Plant. He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1982 and served with the Maine National Guard from 1981 to 1985.  He was married to Lori Cropley on November 1, 2001 and was currently employed with Gervais Inc., Limestone, as a line striping truck driver. Dwain enjoyed outdoors activities including kayaking, snow-shoeing, fishing with his friends, and took great pride in maintaining pristine vehicles. He was predeceased by his mother, Vera Plant, and is survived by his wife Lori of Limestone, his father, Bernard Plant of Aroostook, New Brunswick; one son, Jason Plant of Fort Fairfield; three sisters, Darlene Ellis and her husband Larry of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Krista Kidson and her husband Paul of Lake Charlotte, Nova Scotia, Marla Williamson and her fiancé Mike Craft of Sanford; one grandson, Gavin Plant of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Those who choose may contribute in memory of Mr. Plant to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
