ADAM D. BROWN

Fort Fairfield – Adam D. Brown 33, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, May 22, 2021 at his Fort Fairfield home. He was born June 10, 1987 in Peoria, IL, the son of Tim and Lisa (Bagley) Brown. Adam was a graduate of the Presque Isle High School, Class of 2005 and went on to further his education at the Northern Maine Technical College, Presque Isle where he received an Associate’s degree in Computer Aided Drafting. Adam attended the University of Maine at Orono, and although he suffered a tragic event, which caused him to become a quadriplegic, he completed college, proudly receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He had been employed as a drafter, designer and surveyor with B.R. Smith, Inc., Presque Isle, was a construction foreman with Trombley Construction, Inc, Presque Isle, and most recently worked with the Maine Department of Transportation as a highway designer, and assistant engineer. Adam was also in the process of establishing his own business, Brown’s Aerial Imaging Solutions. Adam greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and in his younger years also enjoyed downhill skiing and tennis. He is survived by his loving wife of over seven years, Kylene Bird of Fort Fairfield; his mother and stepfather Lisa and Ken Prescott of Fort Fairfield; his father and stepmother, Tim and Terry Brown of Pryor, OK; two sisters, Lydia Brown of Portland, Julia Brown of Gloucester Point, VA; maternal grandparents, Winston and Marie Bagley of Mapleton; and paternal grandmother, Filenia Brown of Presque Isle. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Dale Brown. A private Celebration of Adam’s Life will be conducted at a later date.
