MICHAEL J. BROOKER

Fort Fairfield – Michael J. Brooker, 56, husband of Wendy M. (Churchill) Brooker, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday August 24, 2021 at his Fort Fairfield home. He was born September 15, 1964 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Joseph Sr. and Maxine G. (Milliard) Brooker. Michael was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1982 and had been employed by several area businesses over the years, including Maine Frozen Foods, Northland Roofing and more recently at McCain Foods, Easton. He was married to Wendy M. Churchill on July 18, 1997, and loved the outdoors and fishing. He also enjoyed beautifying his property and was a “Jack of all trades” with the ability to fix most anything. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Brooker Sr.; and one son, Michael Brooker; and is survived by his wife Wendy of Fort Fairfield; his mother, Maxine G. Brooker of Fort Fairfield; two daughters, Hope Churchill of Fort Fairfield, Desiree Brooker of Wade; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Jackie Brooker of Cross Lake; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Hadley McNamee, Sue and Bob Chambers, all of Fort Fairfield. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Penny Lowe and her husband Mike of Wade; as well as several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew Jordan Chambers of Fort Fairfield. Services for Mr. Brooker were private for the immediate family. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Michael to the Central Aroostook Association, 25 Lombard Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
