Five New Queens Crowned in Fort Fairfield Pageant

The Miss Fort Fairfield pageant was held on May 17 at the Fort Fairfield Middle/High School gym. Twenty six young ladies competed in five different categories for their respective crowns.

This year marks the return of the Pre-Teen and Teen miss categories added to the pre-existing Little Miss, Junior Miss and Miss titles.

Annabelle Guiou won the title of Little Miss Fort Fairfield. She is the daughter of Paul and Lacey Guiou and performed a violin solo for her talent presentation.

Elyse Kenneson placed 1st runner-up in Little Miss. She is the daughter of Jacob and Lauren Kenneson.
Claire Knox was the 2nd runner-up in the Little Miss division, and received the Jr. Miss congeniality award. Claire is the daughter of George and Amanda Knox.

Other Little Miss contestants were: Emma Allen, Khloe Weeks, Mattie McLaughlin, Layla Ireland and Sharlett Wortman.

There were eight contestants for Pre-teen. Emma Fisher received the title Pre-Teen Miss. Emma is the daughter of Barrett and Rachel Fisher and performed a monologue for her talent.

Charlotte Knox placed 1st runner-up in Pre-Teen. She is the daughter of George and Amanda Knox.
Lillian Tillmont was named 2nd runner-up in Pre-Teen. Her parents are Garrett and Tammy Cyr and she performed a dance routine for her talent.

Other Pre-Teen contestants were: Eva-Rose Willette, Peyton Ayer, Natalie Hatheway, Aubrey McLaughlin and Zoey Milliard.

Lydia Guiou, sister of the Little Miss, Annabelle won Jr. Miss. Lydia sang for her talent.
Maggie Knox received 1st runner-up in Junior Miss. Maggie is the daughter of George and Amanda Knox.

Other Jr. Miss Contestants were: Katlyn Kinney and Sara McLaughlin.

The Teen Miss title was won by Addie Levesque. She is the daughter of Jason and Angela Levesque and performed a monologue for her talent presentation.
Gracieleigh Trecartin was named 1st runner-up in Teen Miss. She is the daughter of Dawn Watson and also performed a monologue.

Other Teen contestants were: Coraline Oakes and Kayla Hawco.

There were only two contestants in the Miss Fort Fairfield division which was won by Cady Blier. Cady is the daughter of Rachel Smith and she performed a monologue for her talent. Cady also received the title of Senior Miss Congeniality.

Breanne Hall also competed for the title of Miss Fort Fairfield.

The Little Miss, Junior Miss and Miss winners will now advance to the Maine Potato Queen pageant to be held during the annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival in July.

The pageant was directed by Brandy Osterblom who was assisted by her pageant committee of: Sarah Crouse, Gem Babin, Skye Strid, Brianna Osterblom, and Leigha Langley.
