Majority of Healthcare Workers are Avoiding the COVID-19 Vaccine as Vaccine Deaths Increase

271 COVID-19 Vaccine Deaths Reported So Far, Over 9,000 Serious Adverse Side Effects

By:  David Deschesne

Fort Fairfield Journal, February 10, 2021

Citing data compiled at the Vaccine Adverse Effect Reporting System1 (VAERS), LifeSite News found at least 271 people have died after being vaccinated for COVID-19 as of January 22; they also found a total of 9,845 adverse events possibly linked to the COVID vaccines made by Pfizer and Moderna have been recorded by VAERS so far.2 However, the actual number of cases is likely far higher, given a 2010 Harvard report that found the VAERS surveillance system, which relies solely on volunteer information, only picks up around 1 percent of vaccine injuries.

One notable death is 86 year-old baseball legend, Hank Aaron, who died 18 days after he publicly received Moderna’s mRNA COVID-19 vaccine on January 5.3

Tim Zook, a 60 year-old X-ray technician at South Coast Global Medical Center in California, fell ill just hours after receiving his second dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine and died four days later.4

Additionally, an unidentified California man died just hours after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.5  According to officials, he had tested positive for COVID-19 in late December, but still chose to receive the vaccine even though exposure to the virus would have likely been enough to stimulate an immune response without the vaccine.

Deaths and adverse reactions from COVID-19 vaccines, which are still classified as “experimental” and “investigative,” are causing many Americans to adopt a wait-and-see attitude toward the vaccines, rather than present themselves as lab rats and guinea pigs in what is the largest Phase III vaccine trial in the history of the world, being fomented globally on an unsuspecting public.

According to a poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 51 percent of Americans remain either hesitant, or downright opposed to getting the COVID-19 shot.6

But, the U.S. CDC reports the avoidance of vaccines is also creeping into the health care field with a large majority of nurses refusing to take the vaccine at this time.

The U.S. CDC report, entitled, “Early COVID-19 First-Dose Vaccination Coverage Among Residents and Staff Members of Skilled Nursing Facilities Participating in the Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program - United States, December 2020 - January 2021” was published in the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report publication on February 1, 2021.7

According to the CDC report, the Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program is a public-private partnership among the CDC, CVS Pharmacy, Managed Health Care Associates, Inc., and Walgreens.  It was set up to “provide on-site COVID-19 vaccination of residents and staff members at enrolled LTCFs [Long Term Care Facilities] in 54 jurisdictions (49 states, four cities, and one territory).”

The authors of the CDC report found that among 11,134 facilities with available staff member payroll data, “a median of 37.5% of staff members were vaccinated.” Which shows nurses and health care workers aren’t as excited to receive the experimental vaccines as the media and government authoritarians would like them to be.  This, despite months of marketing and salesmanship for the experimental vaccines by the establishment media.

The CDC report states of those nurses working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (i.e. nursing home, or long term care home), “According to a survey conducted in October, 2020, 37% of nurses stated that they were not confident that a COVID-19 vaccine would be safe and effective, and only 34% agreed that they would voluntarily receive the vaccine.  Frequently cited reasons for vaccine hesitancy include the perceived rapidity of the vaccine development; inadequate information received about vaccine safety, side effects, and administration; and skepticism regarding the clinical trials and vaccine approval process.”

The report continued, “...survey data from December, 2020 indicated that nearly one third (29%) of respondents who worked in a health care delivery  setting [hospital or clinic] expressed COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, and updated estimates from January 2021 indicated that hesitancy persisted, with 28% of health care workers indicating a desire to delay receipt of vaccine until they had more information about safety and effectiveness...Specifically, among LTCF staff members, a November 2020 survey found that only 45% of respondents were willing to receive a COVID-19 vaccine immediately once available, and an additional 24% would consider it in the future; the most frequently identified reason for vaccine hesitancy was concern about side effects.”

Rather than focus on actually testing the experimental Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, the CDC stated in the report that a form of propaganda and social pressure should be employed to sell the vaccine to the people.  The report states, “Use of focused communication messages to increase COVID-19 vaccine confidence in health care personnel and specifically among LTCF staff members, including messages regarding the documented safety and efficacy of authorized COVID-19 vaccines, might help improve vaccination acceptance and coverage.”

The problem is, the experimental vaccines are still too new to have any “documented safety and efficacy” studies since they skipped animal trials and went direct into human trials which showed inconclusive long-term efficacy or adverse health effects.

With that said, a white paper from America’s Frontline Doctors8 showed there is ample reason for concern based upon past coronavirus vaccine trials which had devastating effects on the test subjects.

AFLD has had its messaging censored by Google, Facebook and YouTube, even though all members of AFLD are medical doctors and accredited Ph. D. researchers in the fields of medicine, biology and immunology.

In their white paper, AFLD admits they are not “anti-vaxxers.”  “We are not opposed to childhood inoculations, vaccination programs, or similar initiatives of public health,” they wrote.  “As practicing physicians, we have all been vaccinated.  However, we oppose mandatory vaccination compelled by government or private interests, e.g. employers, airline carriers, concert venues, and so on, unless medically necessary based on mortality rates and other factors.  This is of urgent concern since the current [COVID-19 vaccine] initiative uses an ‘investigational,’ or experimental vaccine.”

Deaths in past coronavirus vaccine trials

The AFLD white paper explained how, “Prior coronavirus (and other respiratory) vaccines have failed due to the scientific phenomena known as pathogenic priming that makes the vaccine recipient more likely to suffer a sudden fatal outcome due to the massive cytokine storm when exposed to the wild virus.” [emphasis in original]

They elaborated, “One of the known complications of vaccines is something called immune enhancement.  One type of immune enhancement is known as Antibody Dependent Enhancement (ADE).  This is a process where a virus leverages antibodies to aid infection.  In short, the anti-COVID antibodies, stimulated by a vaccine, amplify the infection rather than prevent its damage.  This paradoxical reaction has been seen repeatedly in other vaccines and animal development trials especially with coronavirus vaccine trials.”

They point out that, “The original SARS-CoV, a coronavirus 78% similar to the current SARS-CoV-2 causing COVID-19, caused an epidemic in 2003.  Scientists attempted to create a vaccine.  Initially it appeared promising, but ultimately it was abandoned because although the mice tolerated the vaccine and produced antibodies, when the mice were exposed to the actual virus in the wild, they died due to what we would think of as sudden severe cytokine storm.”

The same path seems to be taken with the current COVID-19 vaccine.  While it skipped animal trials, it did show promise in limited human trials by successfully developing antibodies.  However, it is not known if the severe negative effects that the original coronavirus vaccine of 2003 caused will present themselves in the newer version because it hasn’t been tested long enough.  Indeed, the tests are happening in real time in the general population, unaware that the vaccines for COVID-19 are all still in the experimental stage.

“While we are hopeful that the vaccine is both effective and safe, hope is not science,” wrote the AFLD.  “Because these experimental vaccines have not been tested in accordance with the usual standards, we have serious concerns about safety.” [emphasis in original]

Mandatory Vaccinations not recommended

The AFLD cautions against making these experimental COVID-19 vaccines mandatory at this point.  “There are medical privacy and other civil liberties concerns surrounding the experimental vaccine that have not been properly addressed.  In particular, granting third-party access (including technology platforms, governments, private enterprise) to patient data in the form of a proposed “vaccine passport” or other mechanism ought to receive additional scrutiny through legislative deliberation before airlines, concert venues and transit operators mandate its use.”

COVID-19 Not as “Deadly and Dangerous” as the Media Wants you to Believe

The AFLD point out in their report that, “The most enduring myth regarding COVID-19 is that this is a highly lethal infection.  It is not.  The data is unequivocal:

- COVID-19 kills very rarely and is mostly limited to the medically fragile

-  COVID-19 is less deadly than influenza in children

-  COVID-19 is similar in lethality [to seasonal flu] in the middle adult years and is treatable.”

They further point out these facts from a recent US CDC study, “For most people under the age of 65, the study found, the risk of dying from COVID-19 isn’t much higher than from getting in a car accident driving to work.  In California and Florida, the fatality risk for the under-65 crowd is about equal to driving 16 to 17 miles per day...For children COVID-19 is much less lethal than influenza.  During the 2018-19 flu season, the CDC reported approximately 480 flu deaths among children ages 0-17.  Comparably, 90 youths have died from coronavirus complications from the beginning of the pandemic.”

COVID-19 Vaccines are Experimental

AFLD stresses that the current COVID-19 vaccines are experimental.  “This will be the shortest time scientists have ever been able to develop a new vaccination for a major disease,” and “This is the first time than an mRNA mechanism is being used in a vaccination.”
