One of the most overlooked aspects of the year just ended is the vindication of Chief Justice John Roberts -- a vindication that showed up as the national catastrophe known as ObamaCare got rolling.  Roberts may have also doomed Hillary Clinton's chance to live in the White House again... click here to read whole editorial

Rhonda Murphy Named Loring Job Corps' Employee of the Year

Fort Fairfield Journal, August 20, 2014

The Loring Job Corps is pleased to announce that Rhonda Murphy has been awarded the recognition of Loring Job Corps' Employee of the Year. Rhonda who is from Fort Fairfield has served as a residential advisor with the Loring Job Corps center since October of 2012 .

Since her arrival she has demonstrated, at every opportunity her desire to lead her students to success. Rhonda has used her ability to counsel and mentor youth to give them the tools needed to succeed in any work environment.

Rhonda can often be found developing and training her students to become more productive and well rounded members of their community. It clear to all who met Rhonda that she is committed to her students and loves her job and the satisfaction she gets when the students go on and become successful. When asked why she is so good at her job she says,  "I have lived in the areas my students come from and know their struggles and so you could say I am a country girl at heart with Big city knowledge."

Rhonda credits her being recognized as employee of the year to her students because they have motivated her in the same way she has motivated them, as one team with one mission. Rhonda thanks her husband and family for their ongoing support and also wishes to thank the management of the center for allowing her the opportunity and support to be part of the Loring Team. The employee of the year award for this year is even more symbolic since it is also the 50th anniversary of Job Corps and Loring is pleased to have chosen a great person such as Rhonda for this award.
