JOSHUA DOUGLAS CHURCHILL

Fort Fairfield – Joshua Douglas Churchill, 24, passed away unexpectedly Friday November 13, 2015 at a Bangor healthcare facility. He was born February 4, 1991 in New London, CT, the son of Douglas G. and Heidi L. (Foster) Churchill. He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 2009 and was currently enrolled at Northern Maine Community College in their electrical program. Josh enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding and four wheeling. He also possessed a great appreciation of music and was a huge L.A. Lakers fan. He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Heidi Churchill; one sister, Savannah J. Churchill, all of Fort Fairfield; paternal grandparents, Gary and Carole (Killam) Churchill of Fort Fairfield; three aunts, Beth Lavway, Debbie Nelson and her husband Garry, all of Mapleton, Dawn Martin and her husband Tony of Fort Fairfield; four cousins, Justin Dee of Caribou, Elizabeth Elliot and her husband Matt of Mapleton, Madeline Martin and Jackson Martin, both of Fort Fairfield. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Kipp and Judy (Shaw) Foster. Friends may call Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Celebration Center, 170 Houlton Road, Fort Fairfield, where a service to Celebrate Josh’s Life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Josh to the charity or organization of one’s choice.
