Medjugorje Miraculous Medal Commemorates Catholic Matriarch, Mary By:
David Deschesne Fort Fairfield
Journal, July 9, 2014
The Medjugorje Miraculous Medal is a .999 fine one Troy ounce silver
medallion that highlights some of the more noteworthy appearances of the
Virgin Mary.
Silver, along with gold, is the only money authorized for use in the
United States Constitution and, unlike the debt-backed paper Federal Reserve
Notes, also complies with God’s Biblical doctrine on money being of “just
weights and balances” as indicated in Leviticus 19:36 and Ezekiel 45:10.
On its obverse, the medal features images of the Virgin Mary,
Apparition Mountain and Cross Mountain. On
its reverse, it features images of the Bedroom of Apparitions and the Field of
Apparitions.
While it is not official U.S. silver currency, such as the Silver Eagle
$1.00 silver coin, it is every bit as much silver bullion as that coin and can
be used in trade for goods and services or for investment to guard against the
gross depreciation of the debt-backed paper Federal Reserve Note’s value.
As a store of wealth, silver, as well as gold, has been the world-wide
standard for over 6,000 years. Fiat
paper money, like the Federal Reserve Note, has consistently and historically
failed in every society who attempted to use that debased form of phony paper
money.
